2023 POLICIES

• Tuition is the same regardless of how many classes fall in that month and is paid monthly. 

• FBDC accepts cash, personal checks, or credit/debit cards.

• Tuition is paid the 1st class of each month. A $25 dollar late charge will be added to your tuition if payment is not made by the 1st class of each month. If your card is declined OR check bounces you must adjust your payment by the 10th of the month. Failure to do so will also result in a $25 late fee.

• If you need to change classes please contact the front desk OR email FBDC at freedomblvddance@gmail.com  if there is space in desired class your dancer may start the following week OR in the new month.

• There are ZERO REFUNDS. If you wish to drop classes, FBDC must be notified two weeks prior to the month you wish to withdrawal. You may do this by email, phone or at the front desk. Your account will remain active if proper notice is NOT given and you will be charged for tuition. If you pull your card you are responsible for a $50 cancellation fee. 

• If you have to cancel a scheduled private lesson FBDC needs 24 hour notice or you will be charged for the full amount of the lesson

• Classes missed- There will be no discounts or refunds. Please inquire about a make up class if students needs to miss. In the case of dropping then re-enrolling in the same season you will be charged with a $25 renewal fee.

• FBDC needs 3 or more dancers in order to run a class. The studio reserves the right to cancel a class if 3 or more dancers are not enrolled. IF another class is not available for the dancer you will receive a full refund. 

• Consistent attendance and participation is required in order for your student to benefit the most from their training. 

• Appropriate attire and hair must be worn upon arrival to class.

• Arrive to class on time. Any dancer arriving 15 or more minutes late to class may not be able to participate. Tardiness may result in a dancer missing the proper warm-up, which jeopardizes their safety in the classroom. 

• Water is always allowed in the dance studio. No food, drink or gum on dance studio floor. All food and drink must be kept and consumed in lobby or outside in common areas. 

• We LOVE your pets! Please keep WELL TRAINED pets in the lobby under strict supervision. If there are known allergies pets will be asked to wait in common areas outside of the studio. Your pet is YOUR responsibility. Any damaged items in lobby or harm to a student by your pet may result in legal action or payment for damaged property. 

• MAKE-UP CLASSES are offered. If you miss a class you may ask the front desk what an appropriate class would be to make-up. Make-ups are optional and you MUST MAKE UP A CLASS WITHIN 2 WEEKS after the class you are enrolled in is missed.

• If a teacher or substitute is not present a make-up class with be scheduled at a later date. When classes have a substitute and your dancer chooses not to participate, that is their choice and NO REFUND will be provided. 

• UNIFORMS: Hair must be pulled up and back off the face and neck. Properly fitted garments like leotards or leggings are recommended. We do not recommend sending your child to class in oversized princess dresses or other fancy dress during technique classes as they are a distraction.  (check out the uniform page for more information)

FBDC dancers and parents are expected to show respect to all teachers and students. FBDC students are always positive, supportive and encouraging making the studio a safe place for all dancers. There is a ZERO tolerance policy for bullying and violence. If any student OR parent is caught in the act of bullying or displaying violence you will be asked to leave FBDC permanently with NO refund.  

Phones and Tablets are to be kept safe in the lobby and only allowed when teacher permits. Social media is to be used ONLY for promoting FBDC and celebrating our studio/students in a positive/respectful light. Any bullying over social media is NOT tolerated and may result in a meeting or permanent suspension. Inappropriate posts taken at FBDC or involving FBDC will result in suspension and or parent meeting.  NO refunds are provided if your student is suspended. 

We encourage students to share FBDC on social media in order to show our community we are a SAFE place for children and adults to express themselves through movement.

We run on a 10-month season from August 14th to June 15th. Monthly tuition is the SAME from September to June no matter how many classes are in that month. The tuition for this 10 month program reflects the total amount of classes attended per week, averaged over this time. This includes holiday breaks. July and August will result in a new summer schedule with camps offered. Tuition prices stay the same for summer programs and camps will have separate pricing.
